To start, the first thing that must be done is downloading the Ontimize SDK from the Ontimize Support Download page, for the Operating System you are working on. In this example, let's assume that the OS is Windows Vista ®, but the explanation is valid for any Operating System.
The Ontimize SDK is an IDE based on Eclipse with all the resources needed to develop with Ontimize. In case you have your own Eclipse installed, you can add to it a plugin that will add all the Ontimize related features to your Eclipse. The Ontimize Eclipse Plugin can be also downloaded from the Ontimize Support Download page.
For Windows, just download and execute the file setup.exe (about 390 mb). This will install the Ontimize SDK in your computer:
Once installed, the Ontimize SDK can be executed:

The first time the Ontimize SDK is lauched, the Ontimize Welcome screen is loaded by default.

This screen contains a menu with examples that will guide you into the Ontimize features. You can select the Ontimize SDK Overview menu option to see the Ontimize related contents.
For example, both the contents and the Ontimize documentation can be accessed.
In the documentation section, you can find an Ontimize features presentation and the developer tools, such as the Ontimize Manual and the Ontimize Javadoc. You can review all that documentation within the SDK, where it will be always accessible.
It's time to create projects using Ontimize!
