The Ontimize Geographic Information System (GIS) component allows the user to represent geographical data from different sources in a single panel. This “map” panel includes the basic navigation, selection and editing tools needed to manage geographic data as well as to link that data to the application forms. The Ontimize GIS module also has further components that extend the functionality of the map panel, allowing for full integration with other Ontimize advanced components.
The geographic information viewer uses cutting edge technology to integrate with the most common providers (Google Maps, Openstreet Maps, WMS servers)
The module allows the use of different geographical tools to enable users to display multiple projections using different geographic data indicators such as points, lines, multiple lines, polygons etc.
